Sally is a registered McTimoney Animal Practitioner, having graduated from the McTimoney College of Chiropractic with an MSc in Animal Manipulation at Distinction level. She specialises in treating back problems in horses, dogs and other animals. Sally is fully insured to treat your animal, large or small!
Like people, animals can suffer from back, neck, pelvic and musculoskeletal problems.
McTimoney animal manipulation is a non-invasive, drug free, effective and holistic physical therapy that works to realign and balance the musculoskeletal system, release muscle spasm to help restore movement, ease discomfort and optimise performance.
Sally works alongside your veterinary surgeon and other professionals, such as your saddler, farrier and equine dentist, in order to provide the best all-round care for your animal. Sally is registered with the McTimoney Animal Association which is the professional association responsible for setting and upholding standards of treatment. Treatment is only undertaken with prior veterinary consent.
Sally is passionate about her work and it was her own experience of the effectiveness of spinal manipulation to improve comfort and performance that led her to this exciting field of work.
Sally has previously worked in the animal feed industry for 20 years specialising in mineral and vitamin nutrition and young animal diets. She has held managerial and consultant positions in the UK, South Africa and Canada and is also the author of three books.
